Hi There! I'm Crystalina (:
I'm not just a photographer, I am also a wife and mother of four (yes four!) My husband Ryan and I have been together for a little over 7 years now. We have 4 wonderful children, Antonio, Katherine, Aiden and Ethan. Oh boy let me tell you how wild they are. I swear they were born to destroy everything in their path (haha.) They like to team up against their father and I and give us a hard time. They also have their sweet moments, they love to give us hugs literally every ten minutes. When I'm not photographing other families, I'm capturing all the raw moments with mine. It's a pain taking pictures of them sometimes. On their good days I'll capture some great ones. You can follow my journey with my kiddos on my personal Instagram @Crystalinnaa. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me!
My Photography Story
Now that you know a little about me, I want to share more about who I am behind the camera. I started out with just my phone and was constantly pulling over for pictures of flowers and sunsets. I really liked macro in the beginning. I always had to get those close up shots of rose bushes in our front yard and the bees. There was never a moment where I wasn't taking pictures of something. I always had a bunch of photo books (still do.) Photos have always been so important to me. I love looking back at photos and remembering the feelings I had when I took them. I met my husband in 2016 and he noticed my passion before I did. He surprised me one day with my first Dslr camera and I instantly fell in love with photography. I carried my camera everywhere with me. I fell more and more in love with photography every time I snapped a new photo. I stuck to flowers and insects for the first year or two then started taking photos of my kiddos all the time. I then started practicing with my younger sister Valerie. She really helped me become more comfortable with my camera when it came to taking pictures of other people (besides my kids haha.) It took me a couple of years to practice and turn my passion into my business. I can now say that I've been a photographer for a little over five years now. I was soooo nervous at first but with lots of encouragement from family and friends, I am now doing what I love for a living!
